He's walked nights and rested days
By the rule of wilderness
He's lost in rights and wrongs
By the rule of clan.
It's been some time since he left home
He's been through hot humidity and ice coldness
It's been some good and bad times since then
He's been damn thirsty and pretty hungry.
Months were passed
To discover the sacredness
Mountains were climbed
To see the divine.
At the highest point of mountain
He finally felt it
Over the mountains and beyond the sky
He suddenly understood.
The wind, sacred wind
He felt it all over his body
He breathed it
Wonderful, wonderful view.
The mission, divine mission
He explored in his mind
He followed it
Beautiful, beautiful sight.
Haven't you learnt enough, asked himself
As a good hunter, never had problems with preys
But he wasn't the only hunter out there.
Haven't you gone far enough, asked himself
As a good stalker, never had difficulties with preys
But he was stalked out there too.
How much he missed his dad
Words couldn't even express it
How much he wanted to go home
Words couldn't even declare it.
Nomadic instinct flew through him
Desire rose to control no man's land
Knew that father would consider the idea
What wouldn't know, was when.
Evening, he made sudden decision
After getting rest all day
Night, he took steps home
After thinking it wisely.
Black seagull brought some screwel
Hm, fresh meal, he thought
Happy and hungry took a bite, raw
Hmmm, real fresh, he enjoyed.
Tossed the rest into the air
For the bird to catch
Focused, bird's eyes wouldn't dare
To lose the prize.
Travel bag was full of discoveries
New land, new condition, new life
But had question for final
No mankind?
Whenever he felt, was stalked
Thought, he knew that smell from somewhere
Wherever he believed, found some trace
Thought, he knew that tactic from somewhere.
Final night he crossed the river
That was when he heard the howl
Wasn't definitely a wolf, not in this part of forest
That was the indication that he left somebody's land.
Now he knows he is not alone
Wouldn't even take risk to fight
But wonders how they look like
Thinks he'll be back, however not alone.
